Crazy Starbucks customer story:

This guy comes in and is looking at the menu long enough that I am not sure if he really knows what we serve or not ... but he orders a mocha and seems fairly confident. So, I will say he did seem to have some sort of handicap so I am not sure exactly what was going on ... anyway, he says he needs a receipt afterwards which is fine. Just he paid with cash so it doesn't auto print ... I explain this and say to be sure to ask for one if he wants it cause it just won't print if he pays with cash .... so then it starts to get weird ...

He's like, well, are you and your husband enjoying this nice day? I mean, I have no ring, etc. no reason for someone to think I have a husband. But obviously he is either just that out of it or trying to find out if I'm single, so I am just like, yeah, we are enjoying it. And he says something else about my husband liking the weather. I am like, yes, he likes it. Ha.

So then this guy is like, well is my drink ready, I am in a hurry I have a class. I am like, yeah, it will be around on the other side. So he goes over there and he says to the barista "oh, this is hot" she's like yeah, that's what a mocha is, he's like, well I want it cold. So she remakes an ice mocha (he probably really wanted a frappaccino?). She does this and he's like, oh, that's what this is? I don't want this ... at this point I am standing over there and I probably would have been like 'oh, sorry' and done nothing. But she's just like, do you want something else? And he's like no, I'm in a hurry, just give me my money back.

WHAT? WE MADE YOU TWO DRINKS BOTH EXACTLY WHAT YOU ORDERED AND NOW YOU WANT YOUR MONEY BACK?

So whatever, she did the refund. And he's like, see, this is why you get a receipt. What? Okay? I don't get it. I mean, was it a scam? But he didn't get anything out of it? I don't know ... I guess I will just go with thinking that he really wanted a frappuccino and didn't know what to call it and when he didn't get it then he got frustrated. Please let this be the real reason. Cause anything else just seems too insane.
