I have a confession. I am a googleholic. Yes, I even googled the word 'googleholic' after I wrote it to make sure it was a 'word' - WHAT? of course it's not a word. But it does come up on google. Apparently there is even a website www.googleholic.com, but it doesn't seem to be updated.

Anyway, I've been one for awhile, but it's worse now that I am trying to avoid doing my work for finals and all. Basically if you are reading this, it is nearly guaranteed that I have googled your name, things about you, etc. I find it fascinating. I do this with boys I've just met. If I am barely interested at all I will make sure I know their full name, usually something about them, like hometown and/or school and will google away. Let me tell you, my school and their stalkernet (don't ask) makes this very easy.

Not only the searching on google, but I love their toolbar -- it makes searching so easy and blocks pop-ups. But, their news site is very interesting also. I don't read it nearly as much as I should.

I've also become a bit of a blogoholic lately too. I go to my friends blogs, then to the links they have for their friends and so on. So now I know all about the lives of these random people, and when/if I ever meet some of them I am going to have to pretend I know nothing about them to keep from scaring them off.

Many of my friends know that I do this, many don't. It's slightly funny. It will find you some important information sometimes. At my last 'real' job we found out why our boss had randomly moved from NYC to Portland (not that common of a move.)

Anyway ... I should read now. Read and write papers and read and write more papers. I have like 48 hours till I have to be done with it all. Then freedom ...

Yes, well. We have our own 'facebook'. That is the 'stalkernet' I was talking about. My wonderful school has people's pictures (taken for our student id) searchable by first & last name online. Not only that, but email, phone and address for contact infoand also if they have a spouse or not and what college (undergrad) they attended.
